Unity - Completed - Alien Quest: Eve [v1.01] [Grimhelm]

Game is finally updated, grimhelm finally did it! The game is wonderful, there isnt much to say against it.

-Art and Animations are wonderfully executed, fluid and nice to the eye

-Game is difficult but actually a game, and an enjoyable one at that! Its not just a visual novel like most other games uploaded on this site.

-Game captures the inspirations quite well. For a combination of Super Metroid and Alien Isolation, it feels good. The metroidvania feel is there (though alot less powerups, the only meaningful ones for progression being shield, high jump and double jump (screw attack semi important) but it still has the feel of it. The music and atmosphere help bring in the very slight spook or tenseness

- Did I mention the gameplay is fun? Honestly it feels great to control Eve, Sometimes its a bit clunky but typically it feels pr good to just jump around. Doesn't feel like I'm fighting the game to try and do something simple.


Now the few downsides

-Bugs, There arent that many currently from what I encountered from my run however the one I did is quite big, getting hit by a blue beam in the air can soft lock you if there is nothing else to hit you. You dont properly fall to the ground. I had to redo some progression but honestly it wasnt that bad

-Enemy variations. Most of the enemies look pr similar, especially the minibosses later on, alot of em just use that xenomorph rig. It helps speed up production process so thats good for grim but it looks kinda cheap. (But the game is 100% free so eh, its not that big a deal)

My overall suggestion is download it and play it, its worth at least trying out before you just go to the gallery, smack the f1 button and jerk it. Its honestly one of the best (if not the best) H games I've played.

The game has amazing mechanics with fluent maneuvering, the art style is very enticing, the variety in enemies allow the game to constantly have a breath of fresh air, even after you grind xp from the other mobs. The boss fights offer unique attacks, with a certain amount of difficulty that makes it feel really accomplishing to beat them. the rpg elements of the game feel very nice, and rewards you nicely for the time you put in the game. the sound effects from the weapon your character uses are very futuristic, but not anything over the top. the enemy attacks are very slimy and offputting something i like as they are alien creatures

Honestly, this might be one of my all time favorite games on this site.

Its pretty great actually, animations are very smooth andmultiple as well, so there will be a lot of content for anyone trying a hand at this game, even more if you are into dubious consent.

The game runs pretty smooth and it's actually very fun once you get the hang of it, overall it has a pretty solid and entertaining gameplay.

Game can be a bit difficult, specially the boss fights and might require a bit of grinding to ease through all the game but its not strictly necessary.

The game is great, its very fun and very high quality, the art and animation are a big plus, it reflects all the hard work that has been put into detail, game can be a bit difficult but nothing that should stop anyone from playing it, for me this game is a must and I look forward for any upcoming updates.

First of all, I have played the game of grimhelm. Except the dungeon maid is not very satisfied, the other two are very good, especially AQE. Although some animations are defective and have some traces of rush, they are relatively good. In fact, I hope that grimhelm can improve the animations he has done before, but it is very troublesome, so I can only look forward to his next one. Work, and then the problem of clothing, even silk stockings, it is possible that grimhelm did not wear clothes in order to pursue the quality of the animation, which is regrettable, AQE painting style is particularly good, is simply the top art, but the lack of fun clothing is also quite regrettable. I think grimhelm needs a team to help him play better games, even if he can create top-notch art himself.

Grimhelm's games are some of the best adult platformers I have ever played. Though it had a steep learning curve at the beginning for me, the game play became less difficult the more I farmed XP to level Eve up. This game has amazing animations and the lighting and atmosphere in general is really ambient. The music sounds like something from the alien movies as well (if you play enough you will see the alien movies clearly had an impression on Grimhelm). The amount of powerups and abilities Eve can attain is impressive and fun to use. I recommend this for anyone who wants a platformer that has pervy animations and fun gameplay, just know that it starts off feeling a little dark souls with the difficulty at first.

Amazing game. Great animation, fluid gameplay that's quite satisfying, especially for a lewd game, and a level of game design that goes toe to toe with non-lewd metroidvanias. A couple of critiques: rebindable controls would be nice, and quite easy to implement, I imagine. Also, some more explanation to how exactly enemy rape works, it seems to have something to do with standing still or being stunned, but it's quite erratic and I can't quite tell what causes it. Other than those couple of things, outstanding game!

Every game I played from GRIMHELM is very fun and addictive. I can't wait to see a finished product and future game down the line. The animations, controls, gameplay, and gallery is Astonishing and will remain in my top 5 games to play.

Excellent game and highly recommend. Its essentially an adult version of 'Super Metroid'. The game-play is clearly the priority here and then the lewd content comes second.

At the moment this game plays through until the end of the first task (copy data from computer) which is a good few hours of playtime depending on your skill level with games like this.

Pros
- Works with a console controller which is rare for an F95 game
- Very smooth and challenging game play
- References to popular sci-fi and horror movies/games
- Smooth animations and good quality graphics
- Suitable audio, the lewd audio is fairly basic but the rest is decent

Cons
- I imagine some players would like to see a difficultly setting
- Most of the lewd content is is only available for failing (once you are dead with enemies around you, or injured with h-scene option turned on ). Would be nice to be rewarded for not failing too.
- Sometimes after clearing a difficult room, I would have preferred enemy re-spawns to be on a timer rather than just re-spawning as soon as I re-enter the room

"Came for the boobs, stayed for the gameplay". That could be a nice summary of what to expect with this one.

Previous builds were already good, but somehow unfair due to lack of save points in some difficult areas. V13 (the one being reviewed) has been significantly improved:
- Level design and character controls are totally on par with any modern MetroidVanias.
- The powerups give a nice feeling of strength when some difficult rooms are just cleaned in a few hits later on.
- BUT there still are some ennemies that are somewhat dangerous even then.
- The graphics are clean and pretty.

This game has become really good in its own right. I would totally play it even without the porn. Recommended to everyone who liked the platform/exploration genre.

this game has a smooth grappling in my opinion, starting from heroin, enemies, tentacles and this all feels good in the eyes, even the UI feels smooth

Storyline
this game has a pretty good story in my opinion, tells the story of aliens who are out of control on a starship. then 6 takun then someone comes to research and investigate this event

Sound
The sound design is good, it feels the mystery as a background in the UI and in the gameplay. the sound of sighing and the sound of the friction of the tentacles felt right too.

Gameplay
for enough movement, because there are some disadvantages, namely when we want to be at one end, we must be careful to position it. when hitting an opponent it seems like a combo that is repeated, but it can still be understood

and this game is not a game that can be completed for a while, because I often die. and in my opinion the key is patience
and also the map is very wide, so we have to be diligent in exploring this game

in this game that I don't like is when we enter the door and come back again, the enemy returns. this is what makes me sometimes feel when the state of Low HP. I hope this is fixed in the future

Performance
this game is a little long loading at the start to enter the main menu, maybe because my PC specifications are still low. the problem is I use a laptop that has an Intel Celeron N2480. and 30 Fps can still touch it

Excellent game. Good animation, challenging but fun (and fair) gameplay, and excellent h-content. (The last thing is especially subjective, I realize, but this is the kind of stuff I look for anyway) Loads of content, and so far I've seen no bugs. This is exactly the kind of h-game we need more of, IMO.

Lots of fun and the perfect difficulty. So much was done right with this game. Not kidding when saying it was inspired from Metroid, either. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this game's progress!

Super solid game. Genius to include controller support, makes game much easier to play. One issue I have is that you will occasionally attack in the opposite direction you are facing. Super sexy art style though. Keep up the good work!

absolutely amazing, great gameplay mechanics and smooth battle. the animations in game are stunning as well I can tell a lot of time is put in to this and I appreciate every minute of it thank you for making this game. 10/10

A sexy "Metroidvania" style game. If your not familiar with that term, its basically like Super Metroid, but with elements of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night thrown in.

Still confused? It's basically a side scroller platforming game, where you explore the enviroment for power-ups and kill enemies for experience points to get stronger.

Oh, and if enemies hit you, your clothes fall off, and if they hit you again, they screw your brains out. Probably not something usually associated with Metroidvania's... but not unwanted!

The animations are beautifully amazingly done, and unbelievably sexy. I know the Developer has made a couple other games of this genre, but as far as I know, this is his best work, art-wise. Unfortunately, development is very slow, and it's been sitting at v0.12 for quite some time.

This game has some ridiculous potential, I really hope it gains some attention and gets more work done on it. Frankly, even without the sexy stuff, it's a pretty interesting game, as this genre is not addressed nearly enough (or well) for fans of these game with this kind of explorative style.

The game is sexy as hell though. If it ever gets finished, people will probably forget who Samus and Alucard are.

The game was finally finished! Definitely a great game, with some reasons to do multiple playthroughs with different "stat" builds, although the second half of the game that was added with this recent patch is ridiculously hard. So keep an eye out for that.

Nice graphics and multiple abilities. No bugs or problems detected. Seems promising and you can also unlock some cool stuff even if you get dead... You gat to play Alien Quest Eve if you like arcade games also, don't miss the gallery to check what animations you have unlocked.

Love the idea. Hope content development continues quickly. Its got a great idea. Nostalgic. And the gameplay is super smooth. All it lacks is depth right now. A map would be nice for already explored areas.

Very short demo! Not many scenes (like edgedy said there is 1x alien, 2x alien, 1x alien, 1x male, 2x male, 1x female only). And demo ends when you hit an invincible monster door. Ridiculous. Game is interesting but it's too short.
