the quest progression in this game needs SERIOUS work. If you load an old save it doesn't seem to give you the new update content even if you sleep

hmm I haven't played for a few updates, but when I start a new game with this latest version to get new events in the log, all I get to see is the scenes that seem to be in the latest update. How do I get the events from other updates I haven't played??

Does anyone know how to press the arrow keys in the right way?
Jack Sensei -> GYM -> DOYO
